Tecnita was founded by Anna Rovelli Olofsson in 1983 with the name Språkverkstaden HB.
Björn joined the company full time in 1987. The same year it was converted into a limited company, Tecnita AB, with translation into Italian and Swedish as the main products.
Since 2005 Björn is the sole translator in the company. Björn also offers translator training, journalism and copywriting in Swedish.
Anna has devoted herself to further studies in various fields, mainly graphic design, and is now responsible for Tecnita’s administrative functions. In addition, she takes on assignments such as layout, graphic design, creation of logos and graphic profiles.
Tecnita is well established on the Swedish translation market as a reputable and reliable supplier and partner.
Anna, born in Rome in 1959, is a qualified translator and interpreter (Rome 1982), as well as a graphic designer in the field of printed matter (Stockholm 2011). She has been curious about language since childhood. Anna lives in Västerås since 1982. Her family consists of Björn and their five children. In her spare time Anna is engaged both as a singer and as a committee member in Västerås Show Chorus. She also has a passion for photography and image editing.
